Am letzten Tag der Bahn-WM in Berlin erhielt Bahnradsport-Legende Kristina Vogel die höchste Auszeichnung, die der Weltverband UCI für Sportler vergeben kann:

The Union Cycliste Internationale has the honour of awarding the UCI Merit to Kristina Vogel. This award is in recognition of your outstanding career in cycling and your commitment to the sport. Awarded in Berlin (GER) on 1 March 2020.
